Like Diane, I have deadlines, oh, tomorrow! Two projects have to go in, so I am a bit crazed here in the Writing Cave (and thanks to some scheduling snafus on my part, the new Victorian-set book had to be written in two months, so I am especially happy to see the back of it for a while!). So let’s look at some handsome men for today while I sit over here and quietly go crazy. There are lots of summer movies out now/coming soon featuring hunky heroes, none of which I have seen yet but I’m definitely planning to. (There’s Thor, the new Pirates of the Caribbean, and X Men: First Class, which I will probably see even though I am not a huge X-Men fan because, hello, it has Michael Fassbender AND James McAvoy…)
And on another note, my RITA finalist Countess of Scandal is an excellent deal in ebooks right now, only $1.99 on the Kindle and the Nook…
What movies have you seen lately? Any you’re looking forward to? Read anything good lately???
I saw Thor–loved it–want to see X-Men, even tho Wolverine was stinky awful.
James McAvoy pics I haven’t seen! You made my morning. Now I need to get off here and to work too.
I took a break from the deadline to order Countess of Scandal for $1.99!!!!!! Then I tweeted and Facebooked the news.
James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender…couldn’t agree more. (except for Gerard Butler)
I saw Bridesmaids–it’s wonderful and the only really good looking man is Jon Hamm as a jerk. So nice to see a movie about relationships between women where the men are peripheral.
Firstly, what gorgeous pictures! Sigh… James McAvoy…
Ahem.
Movies? I’ve seen Thor, Pirates, Something Borrowed. Would love to see the new Hangover, now everyone’s raving on and on about how good it is. Oh! And the new Steve Carell/Ryan Gosling movie, Crazy, Stupid, Love. I just adore both of them!
Pirates was a lot of fun even if Philip and Syrena were no Will and Elizabeth. Penelope Cruz was a delight.
And just when I thought that there would be some clean, British sailor eye candy, they got killed. Oh well.
Books are DONE and GONE! I have shut it down. 🙂 Now I can celebrate with a movie this weekend–but which one???
Janet, so many people have told me how hilarious “Bridesmaids” is (and having been through my share of painful bridesmaid-ly experiences, I would probably appreciate it…)
Jane and Alyssia, I could totally sit and look at James McAvoy pics all day long!
I haven’t been to the movies since the last Harry Potter movie. I am really looking forward to Part 2.
If we see anything else this summer, it will probably be Pirates.
I wish we went more often. We enjoy it so much when we do.
