Naturally, I’d say more, but the orange kitty has already figured out that walking on the keyboard is the MOST FUN EVER.
And as you can see from the picture, he also likes to read my Regency research books.
I wonder if E. Beresford Chancellor ever pictured the uses his book would be put to?
(Although if he had cats, I bet he did.)
Have to run now…cat eating my shoelaces!
(Actually, that was my idea…it has temporarily distracted him from the function keys…)

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! They are soooooo cuuuutttteee!
Having cats teaches you the importance of hitting the Save key frequently. Otherwise it’s far too easy to lose hours of work when they decide to jump on the keyboard.
Those are very cute kittens!!!
I’m glad you shared those photos. 🙂
Awww! Fabulous felines!!! What beautiful additions to your family.
In a strange case of synchronicity, we have two new kittens too. Only this brother and sister were found abandoned on the side of the road at a week old. They were bottle-fed and are now four weeks old. The rescuer couldn’t keep them.
So I’m dealing with pneumonia and frequent feedings and kitten constipation, which I won’t go into here.
But they are SO cute, and as big as my hand. Our two eight year old cats are a bit miffed.
My daughter named the new arrivals Mr. Darcy and Lizzie.
Thanks, everyone!
Susan, I will take to heart your advice about saving often…
And Jane George — so good of you to take the kittens! I was sort of in your place once, except I think my job was easier — there were three of us splitting the work on three abandoned kittens… (When they were very young we bathed them three times a day because they were too young to understand the litter box… silly kitties…) 🙂
Plus you’re dealing with pneumonia — wow! Actually, one of my kitties has a feline upper respiratory infection (URI), but we’re treating her with antibiotics so it’ll probably never turn into pneumonia or anything really bad. (The bad part is it means we have to keep the kittens separated…though I bet they’ll both end up sick anyway…)
But…Mr. Darcy and Lizzie — so cute!!!
Of course, with my luck I’ll have a Mr. Collins and Miss Bingley… (the boy talks ALL the time, and the girl likes sneak attacks…) 😉

Cutest Things Ever. Let us know when you name them!!!
One of my cats loves the printer. Whenever it starts up, she goes and climbs on top of it to see where the paper is coming from. Sometimes, though, she stands on the paper and jams the manuscript…
They are so adorable! Almost makes me want one for myself. Almost. (My husband says we can have a cat or dog as long as it knows how to hop on the toilet and flush.)
Cute! Cute! Cute!!
Updated report: the sleeping through the night thing? Not so much.

Oh geez, I didn’t see this section yesterday but in any case. . .
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!! 🙂
Having one though, I can’t imagine two at the same time! LOL

he orange one’s a darling. Already know what you like: lots of books and is making its peace with books, while trying to figure them out. So which is yours and which one is his? (whispers) And which one is Bertie going to have all to himself? (whiper off)
Keira, if there’s a hers and his, we haven’t figured it out yet. As for Bertie…I’m afraid he hates cats! Afraid of getting cat hair on his inexpressibles.
If I were to get him a cat, I think it would be made of china. 🙂
