Amanda’s Edwardian gown Updated on June 17, 2007June 17, 2007 by Diane Gaston Amanda just mentioned her Edwardian gown. Here it is! (and my Regency one, made from a real reproduction Regency pattern) Posted in Risky Regencies | Tagged Uncategorized | 3 Replies
Ooooh! Those gowns are lovely, ladies!! I like the headpiece, Diane. That’s not a bonnet or a turban. What’s the cap in Regency-speak?
It was an attempt at a turban. Not entirely successful. My friend Helen made the dress, by the way and it was NOT EASY.
We were dressed for the Beau Monde soiree, taking place after the Literacy signing at the RWA conference. I forget the year…2002, maybe. Do you remember, Amanda?
