News!
The UK Kindle edition of Not Wicked Enough is available on Amazon UK. If you are in the UK, Australia or New Zealand you can buy the Kindle version here and for less than the paper version! |
It turns out I also have the UK/AUS/NZ rights to Scandal and Indiscreet. There are a few other countries where I have the rights so I’ll be adding those to the territories as well.
I need to get new covers made for Scandal and Indiscreet, so I imagine it will be a month or so before those are ready to put on sale. I believe I have final-copy digital files. Something to look forward to, eh?
Also, If you read German, the German edition of My Wicked Enemy is available for pre-order via Amazon.co.uk here. I think the German title is In the Arms of Demons but I don’t know.
The guy looks like the model in the photo I used for A Darker Crimson.

To enter the contest leave a comment to this post by, say, Midnight Pacific on Monday April 30th, 2012. You should pay me a sincere compliment. You have to MEAN it. Or be really convincing. Also tell me what you’d like to get me for my birthday.

You must be 18 or older to enter. Void where prohibited. Winner will be selected at random. You have to either leave me a contact in your email or else commit to checking back to see if you won. You’ll have two weeks to acknowledge your winning ways if you’re the winner, otherwise, I’ll select an alternate winner. International OK! Unless for some reasons it’s legally not.
I would love to get you diamonds for your birthday! You would look fabulous in them. So happy early birthday.
I also have a birthday coming up on the 28 and I want diamonds also!!!
Have a super dooper birthday! 🙂 Ah, I would share my chocolate bunny that I’m eating right now with you, but, um, I do not share my chocolate… so…. if it were December and my birthday, I could share my annual Carvel ice cream cake – that I don’t totally mind sharing! 🙂
Lois
Happy Birthday! You are a Goddess among women! Diamonds are a girl’s best friend. Congratulations!
I always enjoy the situations you create that take us somewhere for an enjoyable few minutes – a sort of micro-novel, as it’s escapism and fun. Have a very happy birthday and my gift is a thinking cap, made of a wisp of tulle and three long, elegant feathers. When wearing it, your ideas will transfer from your mind to the page[or screen] effortlessly and exactly as you conceived them.
Oh, I like that cover for the UK edition!
Happy, happy birthday! Since it is almost my birthday as well, I would get you an ice cream cake b/c that’s is what I will be (hopefully) getting 🙂 It is simple but delicious. If you don’t like ice cream cake, well, then…a lovely cake with some of your books covers on it.
You have really bitchin’ hair. And while I can’t promise you Alexander Skarsgard as a prezzie, I could probably get you a cake with his face on it.
Happy Birthday! And congrats on on all those rights!
I have to say I think you’re a wonderful writer, everything of yours I’ve read has been fantastic. I’d love to buy you something fun and frivolous that would make you smile. Maybe some jewelry or a cute keepsake/figurine that is totally useless except to brighten your day.

Happy birthday, Carolyn!
I follow you on Twitter and you always have interesting things to say, share, or sound off about. You are a passionate woman in many arenas, and it shows in your prose. May you have many more glorious birthdays!
I wish you a wonderful birthday. I have been a fan of yours from the very begining.
I also met you in NY last year at RomCon.
For your brithday i think you deserved to be spoiled. You should have a servent at your beck and call for a week. That sexy male servant will fufill your every need, no matter what it is.

Have a great birthday, Carolyn! If money were no object, I’d give you a trip to the research location of your dreams.
That is a curious age. Must be from one of your paranormals. For your birthday, I would give you a week of pampering. Time at a spa with excellent food, massages, facials, and all the personal attention you could want. Your room would open onto a terrace overlooking the ocean and be only a short distance from the beach or pool. You could spend you time, reading, thinking up new stories, or just relaxing.
I am glad you got the rights to your books back. I hope the rereleases go well.
Have a wonderful birthday and a great “New Year.”

I love your books. I hope you have a fabulous birthday and you look great for your age. For your birthday I will give you a day of eating anything you want free of worry and calories. Enjoy. lorimeehan1@aol.com
I really like the way you explore things..the crystal project and the kindle program come to mind.
Since this is a hypothetical birthday present I will go for broke and get you a walk on part in a Arjun Rampal movie that comes with a 10 minute meet and greet. Work your magic….
Uh, Caroline, is that a boy or a girl on the first cover? Happy birthday. (Perhaps your birthday prez is the opportunity to find out?!)
You have one of the funkiest sense of humor of an author I’ve read. It’s almost as funky as mine. 😉
For your muffmurmbeeth birthday, I’d get you a robot that can take care of all the mundane things in your life, so you can focus on churning out those historical romance novels – a win-win situation, really.

Count me out of the giveaway but I couldn’t resist the siren call of flattering, er, praising you?
Your wicked sense of humor made our joint tattoo session one memorable sunny SF afternoon a whole lot of fun.
For a present, I’d hire you a *koff* competent assistant engineer who’d do your day job so you could sit on your office couch, eat bon bons, and write. You’d come home in the evening and while relaxing in a hot tub with a glass of wine and music, Arjun Rampal would call you to wish you Happy Birthday in person.
No need to include me in contest, wishing a happy day (my daughter’s 5th is on 29th and I’m up to my eyeballs in paint-it-yourself birdhouses for the little guests and blowing up 200 balloons for impromptu balloon room)
the translation actually is
“In the arms of the demon”
(the s at the end is possessive rather than plural)
You deserved to have Arjun Rampal on the cover of your next book. Heck, you deserve to have him feed you chocolates from Viva Cocolat (as this may turn a bit more wild than anticipated, he most likely shouldn’t feed you chocolates at Vivia Cocolat). 😉
Wishing you a fabulous birthday! I know on my households’ birthdays are a great thing…the special one gets breakfast in bed( their breakfast of choice-even ice cream if thats what they want), they are pampered all day, no chores- a truly lazy day doing exactly what they want to do. That night we go out to dinner at the place of the birthday boy/girls choosing, no matter the cost…and we always have their fav cake and ice cream ready and waiting for them when we get home. This is what I wish for you, you deserve it!!
Happy birthday for the muffmurmbeeth years!! (even I don’t know what muffmurmbee mean, but I just think you don’t want to us know about it)
For your birthday I will give you a private helper for a month. This helper is very handy, might be have “Paul Marron” alike, and ready served you day and night.
I hope you will be pleased with my gift 😉
